2-5/6th Explore the power of entrepreneurship

Class Description

Through art and imagination students explore the power of entrepreneurship by learning steps to create their own business. Projects emphasize critical thinking, problem solving, team building and public speaking skills. Activities over the three sessions include creating a lemonade stand, designing menus and huge advertising signs for an Italian restaurant, brainstorming for a party planning business, distinguishing the many products and services at a pet shop, and a favorite, buying and selling goods at our general store. Class enhances self-confidence, social interaction and creativity. Students will bring their own basic art supplies; a list will be sent before the session begins. Creative! Unique! Class Drop Policy: Respect for Teachers’ Planning and Supplies: 25% drop fee: If you drop one week before classes begin. 75% of the class price will be refunded. 50% drop fee: If you drop after the first class. 50% of the class price will be refunded. Payment Requirement: Full payment for all classes and lunch must be made before attending.
